To reach Liepāja from Rīga, take Highway A9 - distance 220 km
To reach Liepāja from Klaipēda, take Highway A11 - distance 100 km
 

By train
From Rīga Railway Station take the Rīga-Liepāja transportation line to the Liepāja Station

From Rīga main bus terminal take buses that go via Kalnciems to the Liepāja Bus station.
By bus you can get to Liepāja also from Ventspils, Kuldīga, Klaipēda.
Approximate travel time:

• Rīga - Liepāja 3-3,5 h
• Klaipēda - Liepāja 1,5-2 h
• Ventspils - Liepāja 1,5-2 h 
• Kuldīga - Liepāja 1,5-2 h
