For those expecting to see just the usual hotel reception desk and lounge chairs, the Promenade Hotel lobby may seem unusual – it has an entire art gallery wrapped around the lobby! This is the place, where prominent Latvian painters open their personal exhibitions. Latvian jewellers and craftsmen proudly display their silver, amber, pearl, glass and linen artworks and pieces in the vitrines and show windows.
In the gallery, you can leisurely enjoy the artworks taking a relaxing break on one of the comfortable sofas and couches. Paintings by various artists will delight you not only in the gallery, but also in the “Piano” restaurant and in around the hotel interior.
