1. Liepāja Central Scientific Library
Liepāja Central Scientific Library (LCZB) is a Liepāja Municipality public library being the largest centre of information, culture and lifelong learning, as well as a repository of printed works from the 16th century to the present day not only in Liepāja, but also in the whole South Kurzeme region.
LCZB as the main regional library is a methodological centre not only for 5 branch libraries of LCZB, but also for 8 regional libraries of the Liepāja region - 37 county libraries and 2 customer service points.
The library organises various exhibitions and events, reflecting the processes taking place in society, telling about Latvian and world history and geography.
