On April 2, this year, with the participation of all members of the company LSEZ SIA ''Jensen Metal'' together with their families, the new LSEZ SIA ''Jensen Metal'' production building was opened in the Karosta Industrial Park.
The new stainless-steel plant has been built next to the existing Jensen Metal metal and fittings plant with the total area of 13.5 thousand square meters. The construction works were performed by SIA '' Bukoteks '' according to the design of SIA LVCT. The direct construction costs amounted to 8.6 million euros, whereas about 4 million euros were invested in equipment and facilities. The two plants together employ almost 430 people.
Jensen Metal was the first company to build its production facilities in the new business area - the Karosta Industrial Park. The first Jensen Metal plant in the Karosta Industrial Park started operating in the summer of 2019.
Construction of the second - stainless steel plant - ''Jensen Metal'' started in February 2021, it was commissioned on January 4, 2022. At present, all Jensen Metal production is located in one single place – the Karosta Industrial Park.
