As part of the ERASMUS+ programme, we are implementing the project "Digital & Dematerialization Municipalities", which has brought together municipal representatives from Vila Nova de Poiares (Portugal) and Mielec (Poland).

During the two-day experience exchange, we presented our partners with Liepāja's current experience in implementing e-services and digitising processes. Together we visited several municipal institutions, the local IT community, met representatives of "Digital Innovation Park" and "Liepāja Tech Girls", explored the concert hall "Great Amber", which this year launched an innovative digitisation solution, offering high-quality concert digital recordings on the "Digital Amber" platform.

The project "Digital and Dematerialized Municipalities" has been carried out in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme call for proposals "Small Scale Partnership Projects in the Adult Education Sector".

The project's lead partner is the municipality of Vila Nova de Poiares (Portugal) and the cooperation partner is the municipality of Mielec (Poland). The project covers an internal audit of the use of paper, toner, software and information systems in the three cities and the organisation of staff training on how to change their electronic working habits.
