From September 24 until 30 Liepāja and its surrounding region will host the second Restaurant Week. All week long 21 restaurants and cafes in Liepāja and surroundings will welcome their guests with specially selected meals and offer thrilling adventures into the world of flavours at highly affordable prices.
Local chefs will create special treats for both sophisticated and casual menu gourmets, adding and mixing various ingredients associated with Liepāja and Latvia, wild-grown goodies, also following the most acknowledged basics of cooking foreign cuisine meals.
Restaurant Week’s offer will consist of three meals – appetizers, main course and dessert. Special price offer will range from 9 to 20 euros.
Following restaurants will offer their special menus within the Restaurant Week:
"MO Liepāja", "Barons", "Čello", "Libava", "Upe", "Piano", "Oskars", "Hotel Kolumbs", "Tex–Mex Liepāja", “BIG7”, “Hot Potato”, “Palmas”, “Jūrnieku ligzda” and a restaurant – winery – oysters bar “Cafe Antikvariāts”. Special meals will be available also in cafes like: "Roma Cafe", "Darbnīca", "Red Sun Buffet", "BB Cafe", “Icafe”, as well as at the pica place “Amber Pizza” and the pub “Āķagals”.
Special menus for the Restaurant Week and more information on table reservations will follow in the upcoming weeks to the event.
At the end of Liepāja Restaurant Week, all local residents and city guests are welcome to attend Liepāja Art Forum. The festival has highlighted Liepāja’s affiliation with modern and contemporary art, setting up the platform for various intriguing and interdisciplinary art projects. This year, the Art Forum will offer 10 different genre events, featuring artists from Latvia, Sweden, Belgium, Australia, Iceland and Austria, reflecting the spotlights of modern art in Europe and the world.
