2. Children and Youth Vocal Studio "Pērlītes"
Children and Youth Vocal Studio "Pērlītes" of the Liepāja Folk Art and Culture Centre was founded back in 2009. Children in two age groups (4-8 and 9-16) learn here both, to sing in an ensemble and to sing solo.
The studio regularly participates in events, concerts, various competitions (also outside Liepāja) and charity events organised by the city of Liepāja. Every year in February, the Liepāja Folk Art and Culture Centre in cooperation with the head of the studio "Pērlītes" Iveta Logina organises a nationwide competition for children and youth vocal ensembles and soloists "Pearl Rain".
